Julia Solazzo is an impressionist painter whose unique style brings new life to her painted seascapes, landscapes, and portraits. Much of Solazzo’s artwork is inspired by her experiences traveling across the globe. Each new country she visits, adds a new color to her imaginative palette; Veridian greens from the jungles of Costa Rica, Thalo blues of Spain’s Mediterranean waters, and pastel Violets blended into Portugal’s coastline. Solazzo’s world exportation translates directly to the canvas, with each brushstroke.
Solazzo began her studies at a young age, as both student and granddaughter of the renowned Master Painter, Sebastian Capella, internationally acclaimed artist and member of the Royal Fine Arts Academy in Spain. Solazzo’s early studies sparked a kindling flame for oil painting that comes to life in each painting she creates.
She continued to pursue her passion for art, obtaining her Undergraduate and Graduate degrees in Fine Arts. Solazzo graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pepperdine University and went on to complete her Master of Fine Arts Degree from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.
Solazzo currently lives and works in Southern California where she teaches painting to a number of dedicated students and maintains her own painting practice expanding her portfolio.
